The Arsenal Away Shirt 2024-2025 is black with a striking white zigzag pattern that extends from the armpits to the sides of the jersey and the shorts. This design was custom hand-painted by Labrum London to symbolize the dynamic beauty of people in motion, and is intended to inherit patterns commonly found in African design, handicrafts and decorations.

Arsenal Nigerian legend Nwankwo Kanu said: "I am so proud to represent my club and African heritage in this jersey designed by Labrum London. This jersey is a masterpiece, and the pattern and color of the jersey represent our bond with African players, Islington and African fans around the world. I am pleased that we have celebrated this unique connection in such a stylish design. I look forward to seeing our team wearing this jersey next season." Inside the eye-catching zigzag pattern, there are delicate patterns representing seashells, which are designed to pay tribute to the historical significance of seashells as an early form of currency in parts of Africa.

The football shirts also incorporates the red and green colors of Pan-Africanism, which can be seen on the adidas three stripes on the collar and shoulders, the adidas logo on the front and the Arsenal gun pattern.

These colors and cultural elements combine to highlight Arsenal’s past and present connections with the African community in London and beyond, and carry the rich cultural traditions within the team and the fan community.

Sam Handy, senior vice president of product and design at adidas, said: “Our own design concepts are combined with Labrum London to pay tribute to Arsenal’s deep connection with the African community in an authentic and sincere manner. Our designers have worked with the Labrum London team to cleverly present this connection on the jersey, which has achieved an extraordinary collaborative experience. The designers have told these stories with craftsmanship, and I look forward to seeing fans and players wearing this jersey next season.”

In addition to the new away jersey, this collaboration also launched a joint capsule series of adidas, Arsenal and Labrum London for fans from the perspective of the Labrum London brand. The series consists of five items, with the graphics and colors of the away jersey as the main feature, and further interpreted on two jackets, T-shirts, pullovers and track pants.

All pieces feature a reimagined Labrum London logo. The logo is styled after the brand's iconic 'Nomoli' stone-carved figure, which originates from the Mende and Kisii tribes in Sierra Leone and symbolizes the preservation of traditional culture and the hope that it will flourish. The logo is featured on the back of the jumper and T-shirt, while the away jersey, two jackets and track pants combine a deconstructed 'Nomoli' with a zigzag pattern.
